What is Meet The Parents?

It’s a new ITV entertainment show hosted by the blonde bombshell which will see one singleton ask personal questions in order to try and find their perfect date – but they’ll be asking the family of their potential suitors.

It’s like a cross between Blind Date (contestants picks from three options) and First Dates (you can watch them go on a dinner date after) – which is all viewed by the parents from behind a screen.

Awkward.

When is Meet The Parents on?

The first episode will be aired on Saturday 15 October at 7pm on ITV, just before The X Factor.

So you can watch embarrassing parents reveal secrets about their offspring who are trying to pull, including everything about their exes, sex life, cringey childhood stories and getting waxed by Holly.

How does it work?

The guys and girls hoping to be chosen can see everything going on, but if the parents cross the line, they can make an emergency phone call to speak to them – and probably tell them to shut up.

The picker then makes a decision and meets the other contestants they rejected before meeting their new blind date.

Holly said: “We all know how embarrassing parents can be and nobody knows you better than they do.

“I can’t wait to hear what humiliating secrets they’ll be revealing and see who will regret leaving their love life in the hands of their parents.”

Can I be on it?

Keep your eyes peeled on the and the for upcoming information on how to get you and your folks on the box.

Or you can hold back on the cringe and

Much safer.
