Axed X Factor star Kyle Brooks enjoyed a secret relationship with Four of Diamonds star Caroline Alvares
Teenage lovers' relationship hit the rocks as Caroline's band took twins' place in competition
AXED X Factor hopeful Kyle Brooks has been hiding a secret relationship with a member of Four of Diamonds - the band drafted in to replace Brooks Way.
Pretty Caroline Alvares, 19, began dating 17-year-old Kyle earlier this summer with the young singers making their relationship official when they jetted off to Ibiza to film the Judges' Houses part of the programme.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun online, a friend of the couple explained: "When they were in Ibiza, Kyle told Caroline that he loved her and wanted to be with her, and they were together ever since.
"They had been keeping things quiet due to the pressures of the competition and because of both groups' fanbases.
"But now Four of Diamonds have replaced Brooks Way on the show, things are really really awkward between them."
There was drama last week when X Factor bosses decided to drop twin duo Brooks Way from the programme after The Sun revealed that Josh had broken his ex-girlfriend's nose after kicking her in the face.

Further reports claimed that Josh's bad temper had also caused him to lash out at his twin.
A source told The Mirror: "It was known throughout their camp that Josh had a big problem with anger - he would lose it with his fists if anyone spoke to him in a way he thought was disrespectful.

"He regularly used to beat up Kyle, who wouldn't fight back. The sad thing is Josh is really great guy and was popular with his management - he just has a very disturbing problem with anger."
X Factor bosses confirmed last Sunday that the Welsh teens - who had also auditioned back in 2014 - had been dropped from the contest without even performing on one live show.

Two days later, it was revealed that they would be replaced in Louis' category by girlband Four of Diamonds - Yasmin, Caroline, Lauren and Sophia.
After hearing the news, the axed duo retweeted a video from the girls and wrote: “So so happy for you girls! You deserve it.”
The excited girl group had posted a clip filmed in the X Factor house, breaking the news to all their fans.
The said: “We are so excited to be back on The X Factor we’re really looking forward to performing live, working hard and showing everyone what we’re made of.”

Mentor Louis Walsh followed up with his own statement, saying: “At the time a lot of viewers were disappointed that I didn’t put the girls through, now that a place has opened up in my category, I’ve listened to the fans and am delighted to be bringing the girls back.
“They’re a great girl group and I’m hoping will take me all the way to the final.”
According to our source, Brooks Way's response to being replaced was genuine - but undeniably bittersweet.
The pal added: "Kyle was heartbroken to leave the show but then Caroline was asked back with her band.
"Even though Kyle has been supportive and really happy for her, it seems like it's caused a lot of tension between them both and things have been very awkward."
There's bound to be even more awkwardness inside the house, as apparently Caroline wasn't too trusting of handsome Kyle around some of the other female contestants.
The friend said: "There has been a lot on arguing with Caroline not trusting him around other girls in the house.
"She has been very wary of him around Sam Lavery and Gifty Louise.
"They were arguing a lot while Kyle was in the house, and he was so frustrated as he couldn't get out of the show to go and see her or comfort her."
However, before the Brooks entered the North London compound Kyle and Caroline did manage to enjoy a somewhat 'normal' relationship.

According to their pal, the talented vocalists shocked those close to them as they were both recently single, each of them breaking up with long term partners shortly before they got together.
The friend said: "They've been meeting up regularly, but only in public places to try and keep things discreet.
"For similar reasons the only photos they've shared of themselves together have been on discreet social media accounts.
"But they were seen kissing at Xtra Factor and after the show that night, they disappeared by themselves without the rest of the girls and Josh.
"They were so happy together."
Sadly fame seems to have derailed their union, with multiple sources claiming that things have now fizzled out between the pair.
A rep for Kyle Brooks told The Sun online: "Their friendship is purely platonic."
Caroline said: "Kyle and I became friends when we were on the show together. We have never been in a relationship and we’re not now."
