Luisa Zissman blasts The Apprentice’s Jessica Cunningham after tearful outburst
Former candidate doesn't think businesswomen should ever show weakness
AFTER last week’s dull beginning to the series this week was a lot better.
It was my favourite task where the candidates have to create an advertising campaign which included packaging, branding, a TV advert and pitching it all to “industry experts” (a few of Sugar's mates.)
This task is one of my faves to watch, firstly because they can be really creative and have loads of fun and secondly because it always leads to arguments.
Which is half the reason why we tune in to watch the show, after all.
Monobrow man, whose name I now know is Karthik, starts off by telling us we ALL need one eyebrow like his.
Apparently it makes him stand out. Yes Karthik, yes it does - but for all the wrong reasons.
I’m pretty sure looking like cyclops isn’t going to win him the £250K.
Jessica and Rebecca both wanted to be PM. This resulted in Jessica bulldozing Rebecca with a simple “right I’m PM” and Rebecca backing away with her tail between her legs looking slightly dazed and confused about how that just happened.
Cue the nation screaming at the screen: “IT’S THE APPRENTICE, GROW SOME BALLS WOMAN!”
It kicked off badly for both teams. Firstly ballsy Jessica broke down.
I felt bad for her but there really is no room for cry baby women in business. It just gives us a bad name when we are constantly up again testosterone-filled men.

Women please don’t cry at work, there is no place for crying at work! It bugs the hell outta me.
I think Karen felt the same as me, when warm as ever, *eye roll* she told Jessica to sod off outside and compose herself. Karen’s steely glare never falters – I really should find out who does her Botox.
Once Jessica had showed her weakness of cracking under the pressure the girls were on her like vultures. In The Apprentice you just can’t play a weak hand.
You instantly lose respect from the other candidates and they will prey on you like no tomorrow in the boardroom if they feel you’re a weak link.
I really like Jessica, so I’m pleased she managed to pull it together on the second day.
Monobrow man Karthik tried to overrule everyone else and do the task on his own. The boys simply told him to shut up and sit down.
He was obviously inspired by me overruling Jason in my series and ousting him as PM (an Apprentice first). Sadly it didn’t work out as well for him as it did for me…
Anyway, both teams were crap. Sugar thought so too. Never in the shows history have both teams lost but Sugar couldn’t decide on a winner.
He also probably wanted to spice things up after last week’s bore fest. So the boys and the girls were back in the boardroom.
A girl called Natalie got fired, who had made as much of an impression as a wet fish.
She won’t be missed, I can’t even remember her doing anything at all really.
Jessica and Karthik were teased with the chop, but obviously Sugar was never going to give them the finger.
At the moment they are they only entertaining ones in there…
