GEMMA Arterton looked stunning as ever as she posed at the photo call for her new film, Their Finest.

The actress cut an effortlessly stylish figure in a plunging red dress which perfectly showcase her slender figure.

Gemma, 30, added height to her look with black and gold heeled sandals while she emphasised her natural beauty with a subtle bronzed glow and nude lips.

Her brunette bob was styled in natural waves and she opted not to wear jewellery for the event held during the 60th London Film Festival in London.

The new British romance-comedy is directed by Lone Scherfig, who has previously had success with An Education and One Day.

Set during World War I, the film follows a group of inspiring filmmakers who try to make a patriotic film that will boost morale of the British army during The Blitz.

Gemma plays lead character Catrin Cole, alongside co-stars including Sam Claflin and Bill Nighy, who were also on hand to pose on the red carpet.

The actress has long spoken out about the lack of strong female roles in the industry and recently told The Telegraph: "There are great stories that haven’t been told.

"I’d love to do a film about [silent film actress] Mary Pickford, or the first ever female barrister. And not just historical characters, but also stuff that’s more kind of female-centric."
