Maisie Smith — better known as EastEnders’ Tiffany Butcher — has released a single

EASTENDERS star Maisie Smith is launching a music career with the release of her first single, Good Thing.

The 15-year-old actress, who grew up playing Tiffany Butcher on the BBC soap, has already wowed fans with her vocals on YouTube.

Her new song, an upbeat pop tune, can be heard on , below.

The track features lyrics about a romantic relationship, including: "I know what we got is worth fighting for/This love we found is what I'm looking for/We got a good thing/We got a good thing going, baby."

Maisie first appeared on EastEnders in 2008, when she was just six years old.

The following year she won the British Soap Award for best dramatic performance from a young actor.

She left the soap in 2014, when Tiffany's mum moved away with her new boyfriend, taking Tiffany with her.
