The MTV Europe Music Awards nominations have been announced, with Beyonce and Justin Bieber leading the way with the most nominations.

When are the MTV Europe Music Awards?

The awards ceremony is on November 6 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

This will be the third time the awards have taken place in the Netherlands, and the second time Rotterdam has been the host city.

Beyoncé and Justin Bieber have been shortlisted for five EMA awards each, with Adele close behind them on four.

Who is hosting the EMAs?

American singer songwriter Bleta "Bebe" Rexha is at the helm this year.

Those handing out the awards will include the likes of Tinie Tempah, Charlie XCX and Idris Elba.
