APPRENTICE candidate Grainne McCoy has dismissed rumours she was romantically involved with show rival Paul O'Sullivan.
Fans of the BBC show were hoping to see romance blossom in the boardroom, but Grainne says the 38-year-old marketing assistant doesn't get her Fired up - despite an insider telling The Mirror they shared a night of passion.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun online, she said: "Because Paul and I were the only two singles in the house of course people jump to conclusions.
"There was nothing going on between us… zero!
“He’s a nice guy, but not my type at all.”
It's only week three of this year's The Apprentice, but already tensions are running high with some of the contestants starting to crack.
The 31-year-old who hails from Northern Ireland, refuses to let the pressure get to her, as she's heard it all before.
She claims she was branded 'a bad mother' for leaving her son to pursue a career in London.
“I even lost some friends because of it, but everything I do is for my boy. I don't want him to ever struggle.”
Speaking of her experience on the show so far, she laughs off any criticism thrown her way.
“People slate me for having ‘resting bitch face’, but I’m a big softie at heart really. I’ve even been called an Ice Queen… I just go with it!”
“The show is editing me to look really quiet, but that is not me at all. People who know me think it’s a game plan or a motive, as I’m far from quiet.”
The aspiring entrepreneur who has worked with The Backstreet Boys and Strictly Come Dancing star Laura Whitmore, is a force to be reckoned with.
“I went into The Apprentice for one reason- I’m serious when it comes to business.
