Cruz Beckham’s godfather Marc Anthony is masterminding his solo career

CRUZ Beckham is pulling out all the stops to make sure his music career is a success.

David Beckham and Victoria Beckham‘s youngest son has been laser focused on making a name for himself away from his parents’ fame.

As if having two of the most famous people on the planet as parents wasn’t enough of a kick start, he’s also been getting help from his superstar Godfather, superstar singer Marc Anthony.

The star, 53, has three Grammy Awards to his name and has sold over 12 million records worldwide.

Marc, who used to be married to fellow chart-topper Jennifer Lopez, has been quietly helping sort out time for Cruz in some of the most in demand studios across America including in Los Angeles and Miami.

A number of high-profile song writers have also been lined -up to work with Cruz and hone his sound.

A source said: “This really is a exciting time for Cruz. He obviously is aware people know him for being Posh and Becks’ son but he’s determined to carve out a name and career for himself.

“Despite their fortune David and Victoria have made sure to install a good work ethic into their children.

“Cruz has a really impressed with the music he’s been creating – it’s not simply put him in a studio and let autotune work its magic.

Last November Bizarre told how Cruz, who is now signed to Dua Lipa‘s old management company TaP, had been in the studio with the man who helped write some of the Spice Girls‘ biggest hits, Biff.

Biff wrote some of the Nineties group’s most successful songs including Wannabe, 2 Become 1 and Spice Up Your Life.

Making his debut in i-D magazine last year, Cruz, who cites BILLIE EILISH as one of his idols, explained how he thought he wanted to follow in his dad’s footsteps and take to the pitch before turning to music.

Cruz said: “I thought I would want to do football and I did that for a bit.

“At that point, I just decided this is exactly what I want to do. I even learnt how to play the mandolin for a song I wrote. I don’t think you ever stop learning, but I’m taking my time seeing what happens.”
