Sharon Osbourne reveals why she grabbed Nicole Scherzinger’s boobs during X Factor live show
Sharon also denied claims that she was drunk
SHARON Osbourne has revealed why she grabbed Nicole Scherzinger’s boobs during the first X Factor live show last Saturday night.
The 64-year-old came to the former Pussycat Doll’s rescue and covered her cleavage as Nicole danced provocatively to 5 After Midnight.
Sharon also denied reports that she indulged in a few tipples before getting behind the judging panel on the talent show.
However, speaking on The Talk on Tuesday, Sharon told host Sara Gilbert she was just having a good time.
She said: “Why is it when you’re there and you’re having fun and you’re being silly that you have to be drunk? Why?
“It’s an entertainment show and it goes out late on a Saturday night.”
Sharon also praised Nicole saying she was always up for a good laugh, adding: “The best is Nicole Scherzinger. She’s funny, she’s naughty…”
The Talk co-host Julie Chen then asked the audience if they thought Sharon looked like she’d had a few drinks in the clip.
Gilbert then added: “Here’s the thing. I’ve been with Sharon drunk and she wouldn’t be covering a girl’s boobs – she would be exposing them!”
Sharon then revealed why she grabbed Nicole’s breasts on national television saying: “There were very, very young boys and Nicole had this amazing outfit on that barely covered anything.
“And this one young boy was looking at her and I’m down there going ‘look in the eyes, look in the eyes’. That’s what I was doing!”
However, while she might not have been drinking on Saturday night, Sharon and close pal Louis Walsh proved they’re party animals at her 64th birthday party on Sunday night.
The duo clutched onto each other for support as they rounded off a night at London’s swanky members-only venue, The Arts Club.
Feisty birthday girl Sharon looked glam even when wrapped up in a huge coat as she celebrated her special day.
The redhead plumped for a huge pair of gold chandelier earrings to match with a white top and chic black trousers.
Cheeky Irishman Louis looked more casual in a white shirt and jeans, with a bag slung across his body.
The pair looked merry as they left the capital’s party hotspot and the caring ex Westlife manager wrapped his arm around his birthday buddy to make sure she stayed stable.
Meanwhile, it’s been a dramatic week for Louis as boyband Brooks Way were sensationally axed from the show and later replaced by girl group Four Of Diamonds.
