JUSTIN BIEBER might have sold out the O2 Arena but the pop star was a bit of a cop-out as he mimed his way through the first of six nights in London, on the UK leg of his Purpose World Tour.
Echoing his performances at V Festival where he was slammed for being lazy, this time he descended from the ceiling in a Perspex cube looking every bit the pop star.
Justin was seen dropping the mic to his side, but the track continued as normal
But, once again, he couldn’t be bothered to sing along to his tunes.
Thankfully, he turned things around for his No1 MAJOR LAZER collaboration Cold Water, strumming a guitar while laying on a sofa without any backing track or dancers.
Then he crooned his way through Love Yourself and it was like he was back at home as a teenager recording videos to post on the web.
A Bieber concert wouldn’t be complete without a wild rant, with Justin pausing for an on-stage deep and meaningful about how he is “scared” of love.
He asked the crowd: “Who likes love? Who thinks love’s overrated? Why are you screaming? Love is definitely not overrated.
"Love is magical, there’s really no feeling like love. Love is awesome.
“Who in here’s got their heart broken? Is anyone afraid of love? I think I’m scared of it sometimes.
“Don’t you think if everyone loved all the time there would be less bad stuff in the world?”

But with all the bravado of dancers, pyrotechnics and screens, the best stage banter he could muster was by telling the crowd to be quiet so he could discuss his next haircut.
He asked: “I hope in between the times when I talk and the songs are not playing, we can be quiet and listen.”
We’ll do that Biebs, if you sing live for the second show tonight.
