Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards marks son Axel’s first birthday with sweet unseen family snaps

LITTLE Mix beauty Perrie Edwards has shared adorable unseen family photos to mark son Axel's first birthday.

The little cutie turned one on August 21st and to celebrate, Perrie paid tribute to her pride and joy with a series of never-before-seen snaps.

Perrie, 29, captioned the post, which she shared to instagram: "A whole year of Axel. Memories to cherish forever. I love you my absolute joy, you’ll always be my baby boy!"

The pics featured Perrie, her fiance, Liverpool footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, also 29, and their little lad at various sweet moments throughout the last 12 months.

Some of the pics showed Perrie just after she had given birth to her bundle of joy, with the then-newborn resting on her chest while she also caught some shut eye.

Midfielder Alex was also captured looking excited, decked out in scrubs, in hospital.

Perrie even shared a video of her and her man in the hours before Axel was born when she still had her bumb.

The pair were lying in adjacent hospital beds as they prepared to meet their son.

There were plenty of gorgeous images of Axel at just a few days old, including sleeping on his dad's chest, and being cradled by Perrie in their nursery once they had brought him home.

The snaps then took fans on a journey over the last year, including Axel's first holiday where he was showered in kisses by his mum, and the little cutie in a duck outfit.

The family album culminated in Axel's first birthday party, which saw Perrie looking stunning in a simple white vest top and denim combo.

She was holding Axel in one arm, surrounded by colourful balloons in the background.

In another shot, Alex held his boy with the pair both sporting party hats.

And Axel is clearly an animal fan as one snap shows the little man looking thrilled as he posed next to a giant lion.

Perrie's celeb pals were quick to send their best wishes to the family.

Her band mate Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who is mum to twins, wrote: "🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 Happy Birthday Axel ❤️❤️❤️"

New mum Lottie Tomlinson left a heart eyes emoji and a love heart.

"The cutest little button, happy birthday Axel," penned dancer and Liam Payne's ex Danielle Peazer.
