DESPITE initial delays the release date for the new Power Rangers movie is nearing and with it the amount of information being drip fed is increasing.
Here is everything you need to know about it so far.
What is the new Power Rangers movie plot?
Based on the original popular kids TV show from the 90s, the new film centres on five ordinary teenagers discover they have the ability to change into butt-kicking superheroes known as the Power Rangers.
They must use their powers and robotic Zords to save their town of Angel Grove and the world from the alien threat of arch nemesis Rita Repulsa.
When will it be released?
The new big screen outing is slated to hit cinemas in March 2017
Who stars in it?
Bryan Cranston will appear as Zordon and Elizabeth Banks has been cast as Rita Repulsa.
Meanwhile, Naomi Scott plays Kimberly Hart aka The Pink Ranger, Becky G is Trini aka The Yellow Ranger, Dacre Montgomery as Jason Lee Scott aka The Red Ranger, Ludi Lin plays Zack Taylor aka The Black Ranger and RJ Cyler takes on the role of Billy Cranston otherwise known as The Blue Ranger.
Fan favourite character Alpha 5 will also be back for the update voiced by Bill Hader.

According to Walter E. Jones who played the original Black Power Ranger Zack, it is 'unlikely'.
Walter explained: "Unfortunately, we were not invited to be part of the film, which is confusing to me."
