Geri Horner reveals baby bump for the first time as bandmate Emma Bunton shares her joy as we reveal Spice Girls comeback is still on
Ginger Spice revealed on Monday she is pregnant with her second child ahead of receiving the Honorary Gay Award at the Attitude Awards
GERI Horner has revealed her baby bump for the first time - just hours after confirming she is pregnant with her second child.
The 44-year-old announced she was expecting a baby with husband Christian on Monday, posting a cute drawing of a pregnant woman with the caption 'Mama Spice'.
And on Monday night, the star attended the Attitude Awards to receive the Honorary Gay Award and showcased a visible bump on the red carpet.
Geri - otherwise known as Ginger Spice - teamed her pregnancy glow with a long navy gown, flashing a hint of cleavage as she posed happily with her husband.
She was also joined at the event by her Spice Girls bandmate Emma Bunton, who couldn't hide her delight at her friends happy news.
We can also reveal that Geri plans to go ahead with the girl band reunion for a lucrative tour next year.
A source said: “Geri and Christian are obviously delighted to be expecting.
“But this does not signal the end of the Spice Girls comeback. Far from it.
"I'm over the moon, she is going to be an amazing mum, for the second time.
"I'll be babysitting but we are all working mums so she doesn't need any advice from me. It's very exciting."
Geri delighted fans with the unexpected news on social media, which comes less than 18 months after she married Christian in May last year.
Soon after her post, an official statement was released confirming the news. It read: "Geri and Christian are absolutely delighted to announce they are expecting their first child together.
“The couple is overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family.
“Geri married Red Bull Formula 1 Team Principal Christian Horner at a ceremony held in a parish church at Bedfordshire in May last year, where Geri’s daughter Bluebell was a bridesmaid.”
