Viewers react with horror as Made in Chelsea’s Ollie Locke stabs a crocodile to death on Celebrity Island
The flamboyant character was left shell-shocked as the rest of the group celebrated the meal for the camp.
MADE In Chelsea star Ollie Locke upset fans on Sunday night as he scenes aired on Bear Gryll's Celebrity Island of him mounting and killing a crocodile.
The group, who are on the show to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer, were on the hunt for the caymen crocodile when Ollie spotted the animal's tail.
Karen Danczuk, who came under fire for killing turkeys last week, dragged the crocodile out of the ravine by it's tail before the Towie star Lydia Bright lassoed it's neck so it couldn't bite back.
Once the animal had been pinned down, Ollie hesitated before jumping on its back and stabbing his machete straight through the back of his head.
When the gang realised that the animal had died, Ollie looked on the verge of tears as he waited for the animal to stop moving.
While the group around him celebrated, Ollie sat shell-shocked at what he'd just done, before eventually mumbling: "I'm so sorry, darling."
Gathering his thoughts while the rest of the group tied the animal to sticks to bring back to camp, Ollie told the camera: "I think that’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my entire life.
"I don’t know what to say."
While he was later said he was proud he did it for the group, his emotions got the better of him when he was given back his phone and called his mum.
He wept at hearing her voice before breaking down and telling her: "I killed a crocodile Mum. I killed a crocodile."
The group were on the hunt for the caymen crocodile when Ollie spotted the animal's tail.
Fans reacted in horror back at home at the brutal scenes, which at one point showed the crocodile with the knife still in it's head.
It was exacerbated when fans realised that this was the last episode and the crocodile was killed less than 24 hours before the celebrities returned home.
One wrote: "The killing of a beautiful Cayman croc for the sake of TV entertainment really turns my stomach. Absolutely sick! #CelebrityIsland"
Another agreed and added: "That poor little Croc died for entertainment purposes. And was probably shit scared when it was pulled out. Not cool #CelebrityIsland"
A third added: "Absolutely brutal watching the croc being killed. Was no need for it to be shown on tv for entertainment purposes! #CelebrityIsland"
Others however, praised Ollie for completing the task, and hit back at those that found it unnecessary.
One fan added: "People complaining about the Croc being killed.......with Sunday roast in their stomachs #CelebrityIsland"
Another said: "Def hats off to all on #CelebrityIsland I couldn't do it I'd try tho couldn't just pull a croc out like @KarenDanczuk #StandUpToCancer"
All money raised from the show is going to be donated to the Stand Up to Cancer event currently taking place.
The celebrities involved all waivered their fee and went on the show for free in order to help fundraise.
