X FACTOR couple Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie have left fellow finalists stunned - by romping on the stairs of the show’s £3.6million house.
The finalists, who have been dating for nearly a year as revealed by Bizarre TV, are banned from sharing a bedroom so have instead resorted to late-night trysts on the stairs.
And Emily, 18, and Ryan, 20, have already been given a safe sex talk from show bosses in a bid to avoid a pregnancy shocker on Simon Cowell’s talent series.
A show source told The Sun: “Emily and Ryan have been getting frisky on the stairs late at night.
“They’re banned from going in each other’s rooms so have found a way to bend the rules and head to the stairs for their hook-ups instead when they think all the other contestants are asleep.
“And it’s not just at night when they’re all over each other.
“Ryan can’t keep his hands off Emily and they’re always kissing and cuddling in the house and during rehearsals – it’s creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for the finalists.
“The rest of the contestants have this theory that if they keep going at the rate they are it’s going to harm their chances in the competition.
“It seems as though they’re more eager to release their sexual frustrations than release new music.”

The pair have previously bent show rules to allow for their late night romps – after going against producers’ wishes and sharing a room at bootcamp.
A source added: “Ryan snuck into Emily’s room at bootcamp too and stayed the night with her even though they weren’t allowed.
"Bosses were furious but let it slide that time.”
The lovebirds, who have shared droves of romantic snaps together on social media, have been given “the birds and the bees talk” from producers.

An insider revealed: “X Factor staff have already sat Ryan and Emily down now that they are both in the X Factor house.
“They are the first official couple to go into the house together and – in a bid to avoid another pregnancy shocker – producers have lectured the young couple about safe sex.
“With no parents around it’s like they have properly moved in together so it’s no surprise things between them have got rather steamy.”
He revealed: “It’s our first time living together so it’s definitely fast-forwarded our relationship.
“I’m happy we’ll go through the experience together and help each other through any tough moments… We’re not allowed to share a room, though.”
Emily added: “It’s nice to have someone who actually knows you in the house. He knows me inside out.
“I’d be a little bit lost if I didn’t have him.”
