X FACTOR fans have begun speculating that the mystery that is Honey G is actually David Cameron in disguise.

Tonight, viewers pointed out a few 'coincidences' that lead them to believe that the 35-year-old rapper from 'North Weezy' is the former Prime Minister.

OK, so maybe they weren't being entirely serious, but if this were an X Factor conspiracy theory, this would be probably the oddest one to date.

Tonight the Marmite act managed to win over some fans with an entertaining performance of California Love on the show.

She first caused controversy when Sharon Osbourne decided to put her through to the finals despite having more serious performers within her Over 25 category.

One viewer tweeted: "Since retiring from politics, David Cameron has found a new career as rapper Honey G #XFactor #XFactorLiveShows".

While another remarked on the fact that the pair had never been seen in the same room, adding: "Coincidence? I think not."
