HONEY G stole the show on tonight's X Factor - with the divisive star actually turning fans around with an entertaining performance.
The 35-year-old North Weezy rapper caused controversy when Sharon Osbourne decided to put her through to the finals despite having more serious performers within her Over 25 category.
But Honey G surprised the judges with her performance of California Love by Tupac- and proved to not be as terrible as originally assumed.
Nicole Scherzinger was the first to praise the star and said: "That was so much fun. You had us all up here chanting."
Simon Cowell then confessed: "I don't know what's just happened. But here's the weird thing...I loved it.
"I just really like you. I thought you weren't serious when you first came in. But now..I realise that you are! Only Sharon Osbourne could do this."
Honey G beamed as she told Dermot O'Leary: "I'm so glad that Sharon has brought me onto this show and I'm just having the time of my life."
It appears that the fans at home were also beginning to get won over by the rapper, and took to Twitter to express their shock.
One wrote: "#HoneyG was quite good! She got the crowd involved and the judges! If #SnoopDogg wants to work with her then she must be alright!"
Another added: " Still laughing about #HoneyG I think she's great!! That is entertainment people. When I say Honey....you say G! Just get with it #XFactor"
A third said: " Says a lot about this series when one of the best performances of the night was Honey G. This series is drunk."
However, not everyone remained convinced - with Nicole Scherzinger saying that while she found it entertaining, thought original artist Tupac would "turn over in his grave" at the performance.
Some fans agreed and thought that it was unfair that the star was put through over others.
One fan said: "#honeyg is a disgrace and an insult to people who actually have musical talent. #xfactor #fixfactor"
While a second agreed and also believed that colourful duo Bratavio should also be criticised as they said: "Honey G and Bratavio make a joke out of the x factors. Watch the good proper singers go one by one. #XFactor"
This week's song choice theme is 'Express Yourself' - where the twelve acts are given the opportunity to perform a song they feel best showcases their talent.
Sunday night's episode will see Dermot O'Leary reveal the first contestants to be eliminated after being put to the public vote.
In a new twist for this year, song themes for the following weeks haven't been pre-determined, and will be decided on Sunday night by a mechanical jukebox wheel.
Themes up for grabs include Oscars, Boy Band vs Girl Band, Disco, Motown, 80’s, Divas and Louis Loves (the Louis Walsh collection).
Catch The X Factor, Saturday and Sunday on ITV1.
