RYAN Lawrie declared his love for girlfriend and fellow contestant Emily Middlemas on The X Factor - before performing One Direction love song Perfect.
The Under 25 boys wild card has not been shy about his relationship with Emily with several lovey-dovey social media posts declaring his feelings for her.
But tonight, Ryan took the opportunity in his first ever introduction video to discuss dating the pretty young singer, saying how much he appreciated having her as the competition heats up.
Ryan then charmed the audience with his performance of One Direction's Perfect - which discusses being the perfect fit for someone despite their imperfections.
It appears the pair are smitten with each other as Emily has also been swooning over her new boyfriend online.
She also performed a love song - Closer by The Chainsmokers - and while she was praised by the judges Simon came under fire for making her change the song last minute.
