X Factor’s Brooks Way dramatically AXED from first live show after Josh ‘sent series of vile messages to his ex-girlfriend’
The twins were left in floods of tears after receiving the shock news earlier today
X FACTOR wannabes Brooks Way were sensationally axed from tonight’s live show after a Sun on Sunday investigation - amid claims Josh sent a series of vile messages to his ex-girlfriend.
The teenagers, twins Kyle and Josh Brooks, 17, were due to perform for the first time as part of Louis Walsh’s groups category.
But their dreams were left in tatters after bosses hauled them in earlier today for crisis talks over allegations relating to Josh and his ex-girlfriend Amelia Clarke.
And after a heated conversation, the pair were told they would not be appearing alongside their remaining 11 rivals.
The pair were axed after The Sun On Sunday revealed that the ex-girlfriend of Brooks Way’s Josh revealed she was left ‘black and blue’ during their four-year relationship — while a source said he also beat up his twin brother.
The duo were left 'in tears' after the show's bosses axed them from the competition.

The 17-year-old claimed it was an accident after she stepped in to stop him fighting with another reveller but Amelia refused to press charges and he was later released.
Josh said previously: “A fight broke out between me and another male at a party. Amelia, along with others, tried to break it up.
“She was accidentally knocked in the process.
“It was never my intention to hurt her or put her in danger — and this situation is way out of my character.”
But it is understood that ITV have now launched their own investigation in a bid to decide whether or not they should remain.
The twins, from Penarth, near Cardiff, South Wales, first entered the X Factor in 2014, when they narrowly missed out on a place at the live shows.
And a source close to them said on Saturday: “They will be devastated.”
The pair are believed to be staying at a hotel near the X Factor house in North London.
Earlier this week, Josh told Now: "I feel like we've waited to get to this point.
"Being knocked back before was so frustrating and we've really fought for our place this time around."
Kyle added: "We're determined to win.
"It could really change our lives and we're prepared to work hard."
The duo already boast 105,000 Twitter followers and were expected to go far in the competition.
Just hours before the shock announcement was made, the boys posted an excited live stream backstage while preparing for Saturday's show.
After returning to the show this year, mentor Louis said: "Much, much better guys.
"I remember the vocal wasn’t just enough and I was on the fence, I’m off the fence tonight, that was really, really good, I’m really glad you came back."
Nicole Scherzinger raved: "I think you guys are so adorable and you’ve actually got something to work with."
Simon Cowell wasn’t as excited, adding: "I’m not going to lie… you’ve still got a lot of work to do, you’ve got to develop your own sound, sometimes less is more."
