STRICTLY A BIT AWKWARD

Strictly’s Len Goodman tells Will Young to ‘shut up’ after the singer speaks out against criticism

Will later apologised for his comments and called Len the 'don of the ballroom'

STRICTLY Come Dancing got a bit awkward this evening after Will Young was told to "shut up" by head judge Len Goodman after the singer spoke out against the criticism of his Salsa.

He and partner Karen had danced to the Pussycat Dolls' Jai Ho.

Will interjected after Len had claimed that there wasn't enough Salsa moves in the dance.
Len had said: "It was entertaining, it was fun I enjoyed it... but it's a Salsa."
He added that he would have liked a bit "more of the salsa" and claimed that he only got "about 6 or 8 bars in the middle".

But Will begged to differ and said: "There are 24 counts of salsa in the routine."

Len didn't seem too happy about that and retorted: "Very nice of you to say that to me Will, but I must say that most of them I didn't recognise."

He also remarked, but later claimed that he was joking: "Turn up, keep up and shut up".

Will seemed to regret his remarks and said that he hadn't wanted to come across as "disrespectful", adding: "He is the don of ballroom".

The pair received three eights and a seven from Len, giving them a score of 31.
