EastEnders’ Masood admits he returned to Walford because of his feelings for Carmel
The travelling postman made his surprise return to Walford last night and now he's confessing exactly why he's back
Masood Ahmed made his surprise return to Walford last night and now he's revealed why he's back.
The former postman who left the Square last month delighted EastEnders fans when he turned up in his old house but didn't reveal anything about why he had returned.
Now it has been revealed that despite him telling everyone who asked that he returned because Kamil was missing home, the youngster admitted that it was really his dad who was missing someone.
Carmel wangled it out of him with a biscuit, and he said: "He said he was missing someone."
Meanwhile, talking to ex Jane, Masood opened up about his real reasons for returning - his feelings for Carmel.
"I left because I thought I wasn't happy and then there's me and Kamil sat in a foreign hotel surrounded by strangers with no place to go and I thought to myself what on earth are you doing?
"What are you running from, there's someone I know, at home, who likes me and what am I going to do? Am I going to blow it? Am I going to come back in nine months and she's found someone else?
"I did miss her, but to be honest I don't know whether I want her because I want her or because I want her because I don't want anyone else to have her."
But just when it was beginning to look like the pair were finally on the same page, Carmel ordered a huge fridge and ended up in a row with Masood.
“Massod has just left? What’s he doing back???” said one confused viewer.
