The Level 9pm ITV
Here, at the mid-point of the series, the drama really goes up a gear.
Following the latest murder, Nancy is increasingly under pressure (Karla Crome, who plays her, looks even more wide-eyed and anxious than ever) because of her links with Frank Le Saux and her habit of being nearby when people get shot.
She’s not the only one of the police team under suspicion: after Gunner (Noel Clarke) lets a car escape during a chase, O’Dowd (Rob James- Collier) becomes convinced that he’s helping the bad guys.
But when he questions the detective, the pair come to blows.
Fortunately DCI Newman is on hand to calm matters down, by yelling at them all. And this is all before some crucial evidence goes missing.
It’s got car chases, fights and nail-biting tension – what more could you want?
The Graham Norton Show 10.35pm BBC1
She’s a busy woman, starring in two films right now, but Oscar-nominated actress Amy Adams still finds time to chat to Graham tonight, along with her Arrival co-star Jeremy Renner.
They’re joined on the sofa by actor Chris O’Dowd, while Lady Gaga sings from her new album, ensuring it’ll definitely be a memorable night.
Still Game 9.30pm BBC1
Another comfortingly funny episode from this popular comedy comeback begins with pensioners Jack and Victor (Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill) both distraught that their old friend Pete The Jakey has died.
Still, it’s nice that the funeral can bring the community together – in a big argument. And that’s before they hear what he’s left them all in his will…
Travel Man: 48 hours in Naples 8.30PM C4
Richard Ayoade takes Jack Dee for a whistle-stop tour of Napoli.
