New dates for Adele’s Las Vegas shows revealed after pop superstar sensationally pulled plug
ADELE’S postponed Las Vegas residency has finally been booked in – with the opening night coming in November.
According to information leaked from Ticketmaster in the US, Weekends With Adele will be held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from November 18 and end on February 24.
And sources told how a formal announcement of the rearranged dates is expected before the end of the month.
It is understood bosses at the Sin City venue are now pushing for the dates to be made public, in an attempt to give fans as much time as possible to make arrangements.
One source said last night: “The buzz is that we are gearing up for a booking announcement before the end of the month.
“It has been a hugely stressful time for the exec here, because they staked so much money on her deal.

“It will be a huge relief once the dates are re-booked.
“They took the decision to wait until Adele was ready, but it’s been nerve-racking, because no one expected the wait to be as long as it has been.
“But there is a confidence that once she hits the stage, all the previous negativity will be forgotten.”
We revealed earlier this month that the Hello superstar was poised to announce her delayed residency at the end of the year.

And on Friday, US sources were speculating that dates could be announced “early next week”.
Adele sparked a huge backlash in January when she cancelled her Vegas comeback concerts — just hours before the first show — after she felt her stage set was not good enough.
Appearing on Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs earlier this month, she told how she was left “a shell of a person” after pulling the plug on the long-awaited performances.
She said: “I felt everyone’s disappointment and I was devastated and I was frightened about letting them down and I thought I could pull it together and make it work but I couldn’t and I stand by that decision.
“But I was a shell of a person for a couple of months. I just had to wait it out and just grieve it, I guess — just grieve the shows and get over the guilt. It was brutal.”
Appearing at Hyde Park’s British Summertime Festival this month, she apologised again for “letting people down”, admitting she was “mortified” by the cancellations.
But if the two London gigs are anything to go by, her US shows will be more than worth the wait.
Toned Mel is at her fest
MEL C rocked her trademark ath-leisure wear as she took to the stage this weekend.
The Spice Girl, who was performing at CarFest North in Cheshire on Friday, first appeared in a tracksuit before removing it to reveal a bralet – and some seriously chiselled abs.
And she put on an energetic performance as she danced on stage, even twirling her mic stand in the air.
Jessie drums hit high note
JESSIE J’s European tour is now under way, but it didn’t begin without a hitch – after an embarrassing stage malfunction in Stuttgart.
Drummer Adam “Smiley” Wade told how he and Jessie were left scrambling to separate her stage curtain from his kit after they got tangled up.
But he gave credit to the Price Tag hitmaker for laughing off the mishap.
Adam said: “At the start of the show the curtain comes up, but the wind blew it into my kit, so as the curtain is going up my kit is going up in the air. I was playing the drums and pointing, trying to get someone’s attention, and Jess was trying to help me.
“And that was the start – not exactly the way we wanted to begin. But she laughed it off.”
Adam, who has also performed with Ella Eyre and Craig David, went on: “Jess is just amazing and this has been the best tour experience. The other night when we came off stage, she cooked for all of us – the band, the crew – a bolognaise for dinner.
Take note, Ella and Craig.
One hol of a look, Sofia
SOFIA RICHIE puts on a leggy display in lilac as she soaks up the sun on a holiday in St Tropez.
Model and influencer Sofia – the youngest daughter of crooner Lionel and sister of Nicole – was enjoying a break with new fiancé Elliot Grainge.
The rising star announced her engagement to Elliot, the son of Universal Music Group chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge, in April.
And the pair packed on the PDAs as they posed for snaps during their break.
Christina: ‘Healing songs’ saved me
CHRISTINA PERRI has told of her joy after falling pregnant with her second “rainbow baby” – after suffering a stillbirth and a miscarriage.
The Jar Of Hearts singer, who has daughter Carmella with US comic husband Paul Costabile, told how she was left so “traumatised and broken” by the tragedies she could no longer visualise her future self.
But she said she was determined not to become “cold and hateful” and instead to find the joy in her life.
And speaking about her latest pregnancy, Christina said: “This little girl is my second rainbow baby and some people think I’m nuts, but I’m choosing on a daily basis to believe that it will be OK, and to not rob the joy from our lives.
“The other day my daughter Carmella was singing to my belly, and if we had been too afraid to tell her about the pregnancy we wouldn’t have that moment of joy.
"Every sonogram we feel better, and every day it’s a choice to try not to think too hard, trusting my body and trying to enjoy this journey more than the result. I have to just believe it’s going to be OK.”
Asked about the decision to write about her heartbreak on latest album A Lighter Shade Of Blue, she went on: “I feel like the people who love my music are the same age as me, going through the same things.
“And if they expected me to go there, I didn’t want to let them down. I don’t know anyone else who’s singing about these things. And it was a huge healing piece of the puzzle. Singing about all that grief and pain saved me.”
Ellie shut museum for a date
ELLIE GOULDING has revealed the most romantic thing she has ever done for a boyfriend is shutting down an entire museum for a date.
The Brit award winner, who is now married to art dealer Caspar Jopling, told how she went all out to impress a former lover once she discovered his favourite hobby.
She said: “I have shut down a whole museum for someone before, that’s pretty romantic. This was for an ex. I knew that my ex was into a certain thing so I asked to have the whole museum to ourselves. I’m such a romantic.”
Ellie stopped short of revealing the name of the mystery ex, but we’re looking at dinosaur fan and McFLY rocker Dougie Poynter, who she dated for around two years
Speaking on NovaFM’s Smallzy’s Surgery, Ellie also opened up about motherhood saying: “It is by far the most challenging thing I’ve done.
“It’s amazing that you’ve grown this human. When they smile at you, you think, ‘Oh, God, it’s all worth it’.
“But they don’t tell you about all the crazy things that happen to your body, to your mind.
“You become a different person, like someone’s replaced your brain with a different brain.
“But my singing is better, I don’t know what it is.
“I’ve had a focus coach for the past couple of years and she says ‘Your voice sounds better than ever’ so I don’t know if it’s made some difference to my vocal chords, but my voice is a lot stronger than it was.”
Sheridan so cosy with mystery man
HER love life has been rocky to say the least, but Sheridan Smith was all smiles this week on a date with a mystery man.
The award-winning actress, who was previously engaged to insurance broker Jamie Horn, was spotted enjoying dinner and cocktails with her new male pal at Sumak restaurant in Crouch End, North London.
And onlookers said the pair seemed “happy and relaxed” in each other’s company.
A source said: “Sheridan arrived with her date at about 6.30 and they sat in the window, enjoying the sun. Neither was dressed up.
“Sheridan was in a black hoodie and sunglasses – but they seemed very happy and relaxed.
“After their drinks and dinner, they left together.” Sheridan – currently starring in The Railway Children Return – was last linked to fellow actor Alex Lawler, but the pair went their separate ways in January.
It was later reported this split came after Sheridan realised she was “still in love” with Jamie, who she dated for three years and shares son Billy with.
Let’s hope her new pal is a keeper.

And an undimmed knack for earworms was present in There’s A Moon On, a new single that indicates next upcoming album Doggerel will mark yet another high point.
By the time Pixies took their bow, fans had witnessed one of music’s most consistently brilliant groups in action, and minds were, rightfully, well and truly lost.
