X Factor reveal this series’ themed weeks… and one is made up of Louis Walsh’s favourite songs

As the 12 finalists head to rehearsals, we can reveal what they are going to be singing

AS the final 12 acts make their way to rehearsals today, it’s been revealed what they are going to be singing on this week’s X Factor.

The live shows kick off this weekend and in a new twist, song themes for the series will be determined by an onstage, mechanical jukebox.

Each Sunday, after the gut-wrenching eliminations, host Dermot O’Leary will be joined by a special guest who will spin the jukebox wheel to reveal to the remaining contestants and the viewers at home the following week’s theme.

Themes up for grabs include Oscars, Boy Band vs Girl Band, Disco, Motown, 80’s, Divas and Louis Loves (the Louis Walsh collection).

This week’s theme is Express Yourself where each of the 12 contestants will perform a song that showcases who they are as artists in the hope of sealing their place in the competition for another week.

The 12 acts were seen heading to Fountain Studios for rehearsals this morning.

Fan favourite Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger return as judges, with Simon Cowell at the helm.

Nicole selected boys Freddy Parker, Matt Terry and wildcard act Ryan Lawrie to go through to represent Team Scherzy

Doing it for the over 25’s is controversial rapper Honey G, Relley C and wildcard act Saara Aalto.

Sharon Osbourne enlisted the help of Robbie Williams to help pick her final three in Los Angeles.

Representing the Groups for Louis Walsh are three (newly named) groups.

Controversial duo Bratavio, 5 after Midnight – formerly known as 5AM and Brooks Way – the two twin Brooks brothers.

And finally, Simon is doing it for the girls and he selected Gifty Louise, Emily Middlemas and wildcard act Samantha Lavery to progress to live shows.

Viewers can see the first of the live shows this weekend on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th at 8pm on ITV
