Adele planning intimate tell-all documentary about new album, love and Las Vegas
ADELE is finally ready to let fans say Hello to her life behind the curtain.
I can reveal the singer, one of the most private people in music despite her superstar status, is working on an intimate documentary about her record-breaking career and how she copes with global fame.
Producers are working hard to make it her most insightful work yet.
A source said: “Adele feels she let fans down somewhat with how the past 12 months have panned out, particularly the last-minute postponement of her Las Vegas residency, and sees this as a way of making up for that.
“One thing is for certain, it will be must-watch TV. Even though everyone knows her name, Adele is still quite mysterious as a person.
“Her life now compared to when she released her debut album is unrecognisable.”

Adele returned to the stage this month with two sold-out shows in London’s Hyde Park.
The gigs were her first in five years after scrapping her planned Las Vegas residency in January, 24 hours before she was due on stage.
Adele said how the incident left her a shell of a person: “I was frightened about letting them down and I thought I could pull it together and make it work, and I couldn’t.
“I stand by that decision. I don’t think any other artist would have done what I did, and I think that is why it was such a massive, massive story.
“It was like, ‘I don’t care’ and things like that. You can’t buy me. You can’t buy me for nothing. I’m not going to just do a show because I have to or because people are going to be let down or because we are going to lose loads of money. I’m like, ‘The show is not good enough’.”
Despite vowing the shows will still take place this year, Adele’s fans are now fearing they may never see her return to Sin City.
Her London gigs helped cut through the noise that’s been surrounding Adele all year.
The documentary has no release date yet but hopefully it will do the same elsewhere too.
Grace is a wedding band-it
CLEAN BANDIT’s Grace Chatto would struggle to jump around on stage in this dress so it’s a good thing she was in the audience for once.
The chart star opened up about the trio’s upcoming third album, which will be packed with major British collaborations, at the premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s Corteo show, at London’s O2 Arena on Wednesday.
In an exclusive chat on the red carpet, Grace said: “We’re writing so many songs at the moment and working with a lot of UK artists.
“With our last album, What Is Love, we really tried to make a homogenous sound, but with our first album it was all over the place – dancehall, house, classical.
“So with the third album we will probably go more that way because there are so many styles of sounds.” While she admitted her acrobatic skills wouldn’t be enough to get her a part in Cirque du Soleil, Grace can do fire poi, which involves swinging around balls of fire on chains.
Grace said: “When I saw the invitation to this I thought this dress was perfect. Either I had to get married or go to the circus.
“I can do fire poi. I did it in the music video for our song I Miss You in 2018.
“I used to do it as a teenager but when I did it for the video, I thought it would be like riding a bike and I’d remember how to do it.
“Jack Patterson was like, ‘You should practise before we light them’, and I was like, ‘No, I’ll be fine’. Then I burnt a load of my hair.”
She won’t want to try that in this dress or the whole lot will go up in smoke.
HARRY TOPS CHARTS
HARRY STYLES has the biggest-selling vinyl album of the year so far with Harry’s House.
The Official Charts Company has revealed it has sold 49,000 copies, while Liam Gallagher is at No2 with C’Mon You Know, having sold 33,000 copies.
Wet Leg’s self-titled debut is at No3, while Charli XCX’s Crash is the best-selling vinyl for a solo female act.
The Sex Pistols’ anti-monarchist God Save The Queen is the best-selling vinyl single of 2022 so far after its re-released for the Jubilee.
Following a Record Store Day release, Taylor Swift’s ode to the Lake District, called The Lakes, comes in second.
Ellie jumps back
ELLIE GOULDING looked ready to take on anything, including a music comeback, in this jumpsuit.
The Love Me Like You Do singer was leaving a radio studio in London ahead of today’s release of her new single Easy Lover, featuring Big Sean.
The tune, about a rollercoaster relationship, obviously isn’t based on recent experiences as Ellie has been married to art dealer Caspar Jopling since 2019 and they have son Arthur.
On Easy Lover, which has an accompanying video from which this picture, below, is taken, she sings: “I’ve been walking in a straight line, fighting this again.
“But every time I leave, you pull me back in. Easy lover, keep it cool on me, don’t be cruel to me. ’Cause I know you’ve done it before.”
I’m hoping there’s plenty more where this came from.
Abbie's all out to live best life
AJ PRITCHARD’s girlfriend Abbie Quinnen has been going to the opening of the envelope recently.
And the dancer and model has revealed why she is constantly being pictured on red carpets.
She is making the most of life after her near-death experience last year which left her with third-degree burns.
A blazing wine bottle exploded over her after a video stunt went wrong and she has spent the past 18 months having treatment on her face and body.
She said: “I’m living my best life now. I go to every event. We got trapped inside for a year and then I couldn’t go out because I was so ill. I’m feeling so much better. I’m not afraid to show my burns now. I cherish every single day.”
The couple, right, have another reason to celebrate – they finally have their flat back after former Strictly star AJ’s brother, Love Islander Curtis Pritchard, moved out.
AJ said: “When he was on Love Island, my second bedroom was his dumping ground. But three years is enough.”
Though Abbie added: “I miss him. Although I have got a whole lot more wardrobe space.”
UK TOUR FOR THE BOSS
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN wowed fans when he joined Paul McCartney on stage to sing two tracks during The Beatles star’s headline set at Glastonbury last month.
And it won’t be long before The Boss is back on British soil for proper shows of his own.
The American superstar has announced four shows for 2023, accompanied by his brilliant backing group the E Street Band.
They will hit Edinburgh’s BT Murrayfield Stadium on May 30 and Birmingham’s Villa Park on June 16.
Bruce and his band are also the first acts to be confirmed for the tenth anniversary event of British Summertime Hyde Park, London, with shows on July 6 and 8.
It is seven years since he last toured these shores.
With concerts booked in Sweden during Glastonbury Festival though, it doesn’t look likely that punters at Worthy Farm will get a full set from him next year.
Marcus, Aitch, Pharrell and Calvin vying for charts
MARCUS MUMFORD leads a raft of new releases on Friday with his debut solo single Cannibal.
It is the first tune to be taken from the Mumford & Sons singer's newly announced album with the quirky name, which will be out on September 16.
Fresh from the success of his No2 tune Baby, Aitch is back with a new single with Bakar called In Disguise while Calvin Harris has dropped a superstar collaboration called Stay With Me featuring Justin Timberlake, Halsey and .
Super producer MK has created the ultimate post-Covid anthem with his song Better and Deno has sampled Ed Sheeran’s Lego House on his similarly named Better Now.

Wes Nelson has landed his biggest team-up to date with his new single Fly Away featuring French Montana while Tom Grennan has returned with a euphoric tune called All These Nights.
All of those tracks will be helping to soundtrack the heatwave for me this weekend.
