Charlotte Dawson reveals she feels the ghost of her legendary dad Les Dawson
The Ex On The Beach star was forced to visit a physic over the ghostly presence of her late dad
LEGENDARY comic Les Dawson is back from the dead – according to the late funnyman’s daughter.
Charlotte Dawson has revealed that she regularly feels the ghostly presence of her late dad Les in her home, forcing her to visit a psychic.
And the Ex on the Beach star, 23, has even recounted his ghost hurling his autobiographies off her bedroom shelf and rewinding his documentaries while his family are watching them.
In a haunting revelation to The Sun, Charlotte, who was only eight months old when her father Les suffered a heart attack and died, said: “I feel like my dad is always with me.
“It was really weird the other night actually because sometimes I can’t get to sleep and I was sat watching my dad on TV.
“I do it as I want to hear his voice and stuff so I’ve got loads of his programmes recorded on my Sky.
“I watched the Best of Les Dawson the other night when I got back from fashion week and I was just dead tired and I was watching it because I can fall asleep so much easier when I hear his voice.
“But how weird is this – my Sky remote was nowhere near me while I was watching him and I swear to god it lifted up and started rewinding the programme. I was really confused.
“It must have been my dad. I mean what else could it have been?
“It freaked me out. I was looking around thinking what the hell. It scares me a little bit but it also makes me happy at the same time to know he’s right there with me.”
Charlotte also recalled a haunting when the ghost of her dad knocked all his autobiographies off her bedroom shelf.
She added: “I’ve got all of his books, all his autobiographies all lined-up on my shelf and one night, I had no windows open or anything, and I woke up in the morning thinking someone had been in my room.

“I woke up feeling weird and then saw that all the books had been knocked off the bloody shelf.
“The windows weren’t open – my mum actually came in and said ‘why have you thrown all you dad’s books off the shelf?’
“It’s happened a few times it’s not just the one time – it’s definitely my dad.”
Charlotte admitted that the ghostly goings-on have had such an impact on her that she went to go and see a psychic to speak to her dad more.
The telly star, who is known for her hilarious antics on Ex on the Beach, revealed that the psychic gave her messages from her dad relating to the MTV series.
She revealed: “I went to go and see a psychic not long ago three days before I went on Ex on the Beach and I wanted them to tell me about Ex and stuff and I got a bit upset because my dad came through but not a lot.
“But then how weird is this – the woman - she rang me like ten minutes after and she didn’t know who I was or anything. And she said ‘someone called Lesley has come through and he’s going to be with you the whole way making waves with you’ because obviously waves for Ex on the Beach.
“It’s so weird. She said he’s really proud of me and he was talking about me in show business.”
The lingerie model also opened up about speaking to the ghost of her dad over issues to do with her on-off boyfriend, Alex Stewart – who stars alongside her on the current series of EOTB.
She said: “When I broke up with my ex I was heartbroken and I spoke to my dad asking ‘what do I do?’ and I know in myself what he’s saying back.
“I do walk around sometimes asking what he would think, what he would do – I do try and speak to him all the time.”
During this week’s episode of EOTB, Charlotte was shown rekindling her romance with her ex of six years – despite having a threesome with Gaz Beadle and Olivia Walsh before his arrival.
The Sun revealed in August that Charlotte has recently been filming an emotional new documentary on her dad - set to air this Christmas.
