STORM HUNTLEY is best known for appearing on the Jeremy Vine show.

But the presenter has been missing from the programme in July 2022... here's why.

Why is Storm Huntley not on Jeremy Vine today?

Storm Huntley has been a regular fixture on Channel 5 show Jeremy Vine since it began in 2018.

But in July 2022 she had a pretty good reason as to why .

Storm has been appearing alongside her co-star looking heavily pregnant and on Monday, July 11, 2022, she gave birth to a baby boy.

It is her first child with husband, LaFontaines frontman Kerr Okan.

The new mum announced the exciting news on her social media page.

She shared a sweet photo of herself holding her baby boy with the caption: ";So this is the little person who will forever hold my heart in his hands…"

Jeremy Vine show star Storm Huntley gives birth to son & reveals his cute name

Storm also told her followers her baby's name.

She said: "Otis Abi Okan. Born 9.17am. 7.7 pounds."

Storm was originally due to give birth on July 21 and had only just gone on maternity leave.

Previously on the Jeremy Vine show she said: "I’m due on the 21st but it will be delivered early because it’s a big old thing.

Just a few days before giving birth, Storm posted a snap of herself and Kerr with their pet pooch poo.

She captioned it: "Happy 6th Birthday to my fur-st baby!"

Who is replacing her?

Presenter Dawn Neesom will be taking over from Storm while she is away.

Storm first revealed she was pregnant in January 2022, when she posted a photo of herself alongside husband Kerr - the pair were looking into an oven with a bun inside.

She captioned the reveal: "Something's cooking!"

When will she be back on Channel 5?

It's not yet known when to the Jeremy Vine show.

However, it seems that fans are missing the Scotswoman already.

One fan said: "All the best Storm, the show will not be the same without you."
