The quiz show received a warm welcome when it returned to screens in August, following a summer break, and these clips show why viewers were happy to have Bradley and the gang back on their TV.

The ITV show is now in its seventh year and has been so successful, it’s now made and broadcast in 11 countries.

Contestants are given 60 seconds each to answer as many questions as they can with each correct answer earning them £1,000.

Speaking ahead of the milestone episode, Bradley previously explained: "We’ve made it to the 1,000th episode of The Chase as the show is so entertaining and informative.

“I’m so lucky I get to be a part of such a great team and have a laugh at work, I even learn some things too.”

Bradley, who’s hosted the show since it started in 2009, added: “People love it because they can see how much we are enjoying ourselves.

“The special is going to be one Chase fans won’t want to miss.”
