From his one-liners to his infectious giggling fits, it isn't hard to see why Bradley has remained a household favourite.

The ITV show is now in its seventh year and has been so successful, it’s now made and broadcast in 11 countries.

Viewers watch contestants take on chasers Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha and Jenny Ryan in family groups.

Contestants are given 60 seconds each to answer as many questions as they can with each correct answer earning them £1,000.

Speaking ahead of the milestone episode, Bradley previously explained: "We’ve made it to the 1,000th episode of The Chase as the show is so entertaining and informative.

“I’m so lucky I get to be a part of such a great team and have a laugh at work, I even learn some things too.”

Bradley, who’s hosted the show since it started in 2009, added: “People love it because they can see how much we are enjoying ourselves.

“The special is going to be one Chase fans won’t want to miss.”
