BOOKIES say Simon and Joan are at the top of the list of baby names as people start betting on the possible name of Cheryl and Liam Payne’s rumoured baby.
After Coral and William Hill confirmed they’d suspended betting on whether the former Girls Aloud star was expecting her first child, punters started throwing money on names and it seems the favourites are rather close to home.
Coral’s David Stephens says: “If the couple have a girl, Coral has chalked up Joan, after Cheryl’s mother, the favourite at odds of 10-1, while it is 14-1 that she names the baby after herself.
“Other girl names include, Kimberley at 16-1, Britney at 40-1, while Nadine is a 100-1 outsider.
He adds: “Simon leads the betting for boys names at odds of 10-1, ahead of Will at 12-1 and Frank at 14-1.
“Harry and Louis is priced at 20-1, while Reggie is a 40-1 shot.”
William Hill have called Alfie as the most popular boy name for the rumoured baby at 7/1, which Cheryl has previously confirmed is her favourite, and say Alice is the public’s choice for a girl at 6/1.
The bookmakers have also been taking bets on the names of Cheryl’s exes – with Ashley at 51/1 and Jean Bernard at 50/1.
Paddy Power have early favourites in Liam’s One Direction band mates, with Harry and Niall at 8/1 and Louis at 10/1.
Cheryl’s former Girls Aloud band mate Nicola also makes their list at 20/1.

Ladbrokes don’t think Zayn Malik’s in with a chance of having the rumoured child named after him however, with Alex Donohue saying: “The odds suggest Liam & Cheryl won't make it as far down the alphabet as Z, it’s at 50/1 to be called Zayn.”
Further speculation Cheryl could be expecting started again on Sunday, when she showed off a fuller figure at a glamorous L’Oreal party in Paris.
The singer’s big public comeback marks the first time she has attended a high-profile event since she was hit by baby rumours last month.
She appeared to be hiding her tummy as she stepped out in London earlier in the day on Sunday, but she proudly put her figure on display in the French capital.
The pop star has done little to dispel suggestions she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Liam Payne, 23.
The latest pictures appear to show Cheryl sporting a more rounded tummy.
She looked happy and relaxed as she posed for pictures at the party for the cosmetics company, which boasts her as an ambassador.
Fans began speculating about a possible pregnancy when she showed off what appeared to be a slightly fuller face in a commercial for L'Oreal.
Cheryl has yet to comment on the reports, but fans were quick to comment on Twitter.
Many have taken to the social networking website tonight to express their opinions on her rumoured baby bump baby bump.
One fan wrote: "lmaoooo is cheryl actually pregnant..." and another added: "CHERYL LOOKS PREGNANT."
Cheryl and Liam went public with their romance in May, making their red carpet debut together at a fundraiser in Paris.
Although they’ve spent time apart recently, with former One Direction star Liam spending time in LA to work on new music, the pair are said to be closer than ever.
Cheryl’s romance with Liam followed her messy split from husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
They are currently going through a divorce, but the proceedings are believed to have stalled.
Reports suggest the Frenchman put a halt to the divorce proceedings amid concerns about a clause in the settlement which would prevent him from talking about the couple's union.
