Eighties heartthrobs Luke and Matt Goss confirm Bros are reuniting for one-off gig at at London O2 next summer
The twin brothers will return to the stage without Craig Logan
BROS stars Matt and Luke Goss have confirmed that they will be reuniting for show next year.
The Eighties heartthrobs delighted fans with the news in London at a special press conference which saw them interviewed by Big Brother presenter Emma Willis.
The one-off gig will be the first time Matt & Luke have played together since 77,000 packed into Wembley Stadium on August 19th, 1989.
Matt gushed: “The most memorable moments for me in Bros so far is Wembley Stadium and without question our final global tour.
“Both of these experiences were just with Luke and myself. As the lead singer of the band, my musical connection has always been with Luke. Bros is Matt and Luke.”
While Luke added: “Bros has been part of my life for 30 years. I’m deeply proud of it. Our biggest show was at Wembley Stadium, Bros Into Summer. It was just Matt and I so I feel comfortable saying with great pride that Matt and I are Bros.”
Bros found success as a trio in the late 80s with hits including When Will I Be Famous and I Owe You Nothing, however Craig Logan eventually left the band in 1989.
The band were the youngest stars to ever headline Wembley Stadium and famously played 19 shows at Wembley Arena.
Matt and Luke eventually called time on the group in 1992 months after the released of their third and final album Changing Faces.
Luke has enjoyed a successful acting career, starring in films such as Crossing Point and Blade 2, while Matt went on to release five solo albums.
Matt has also enjoyed a long running residency at Caesars Palace hotel in Las Vegas.
Tickets go on sale at 11am from October 7 2016.
