Who is Keith Richards?
Keith Richards was born on December 18, 1943, in Dartford.
He is the only child of Doris Maud Lydia and Herbert William Richards who worked in a factory and was wounded in the Second World War.
Keith is one of the founding members of the iconic band the Rolling Stones, and he's the lead guitarist.
As a member of the Rolling Stones, Keith was honoured in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 and later on in the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004.
He and Mick Jagger formed a pair that rocked the music world and won three Grammy Awards, a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, several NME Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.
They were also ranked fourth by the Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the Greatest Artists of All Time.
