Spice Girls to perform at Geri Halliwell’s 50th bash… including Victoria Beckham

THE Spice Girls, including Victoria Beckham, are poised to reunite for the first time in ten years — at Geri Horner’s secret 50th bash.

Ginger Spice, the first of the group to hit the landmark birthday, has invited Emma Bunton, Mel's B and C and Victoria Beckham to the lavish celebration on September 17.

Geri, married to Red Bull Formula 1 team supremo Christian Horner, is said to be planning to make a brief speech before inviting the quartet on stage to join her for a rendition of one of their smash tunes.

It will be the first time they have all been on stage together since the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.

Last night, a pal said: “It’s going to be an amazing night.

“It’s a seated, black tie do and the theme is Timeless Elegance.

"Loads of Geri and her husband Christian’s celeb pals will be there and, excitingly, Geri is inviting all the Spice Girls — including Victoria

“It’s being held in a Grade II listed manor in Oxfordshire which, conveniently, is just a stone's throw from David and Victoria’s Cotswolds manor.

“The girls can’t wait to reunite and the plan is for all five of them to sing Happy Birthday and get up on stage to join Geri for a number — possibly Wannabe.

“One of the girls turning 50 is a massive deal — they all want to mark the occasion in style, and reuniting after a decade seems the perfect time.”

Back in 2012, the five reformed to close the Olympic Games, performing on top of five London black taxis.

In 2017, they again got back together for a world tour — but without Posh, who ruled herself out so she could concentrate on her fashion empire.

The group, formed in 1994, have sold more than 100million records, making them the most successful girlband of all time.

The other girls will not hit 50 for a year or two yet — singer Mel C and Posh are both 48, Mel B, now a domestic abuse campaigner, is 47, while radio presenter Baby Spice Emma is the youngest at 46.
