Who is Natalie Hughes? Meet The Apprentice 2016 candidate – here’s what we know
NATALIE Hughes has pulled no punches admitting she is the "hustler" of this year's Apprentice bunch.
However Natalie was fired by Lord Sugar in the second week after he decided she hadn’t done much during the advertising task.
The blonde juggles two award-winning salons in her native Glasgow and was eager to gush she was the cream of the crop in Scotland.
Speaking in a pre-show clip for the BBC, she said: "My salon is called VIP, so I always say VIP is the only way to be.
"Obviously I look VIP, act VIP, be VIP.
"I'm number one in Scotland, it's a fact."
Natalie, 30, reeled off her attributes as enthusiasm, hard worker, thinking outside the box and a sassy quirkiness.
She also believes she can sell with ease, is persuasive and has what she thinks is the crucial facet to win - motivation.
She brazenly admitted she was a hustler with "hustler's ambitions" and added: "I've hustled in all different walks of life and all different kinds of people so I've got a lot to come to the table."
And who does she class as her icon?
None other than gobby chef Gordon Ramsay.
She quipped: "I'm very forward, I like the job done like he does."
The Apprentice returns to our screens Thursdays at 9pm, the winning entrepreneur will receive a £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar to help grow their business.
There are 18 candidates taking part in this series, nine men and nine women are competing for Baroness Karren Brady and Claude Littner’s approval, in the battle to become Lord Sugar’s next apprentice.
