Devastated Lauren Goodger secretly got back together with ex Jake McLean but split two years before his sudden death
LAUREN Goodger was still seeing ex-boyfriend Jake McLean until 2020 but they split for good when she met Charles Drury.
Jake, 33, was involved in a horrific crash in Bodrum, Turkey, after the car he was in lost control and he was killed at the scene.
Towie legend Lauren, 35, started dating Jake in 2012 and even had his name tattooed on her wrist during their relationship.
It was thought the couple split for good in 2016 but The Sun can reveal they continued a romantic relationship until 2020.
Devastated mum-of-one Lauren - who is expecting her second child with Charles, 24 - broke her silence over the tragic accident today.
A source told us: "Jake was a huge part of Lauren’s life for a long time and they lived together for five years.

"Lauren was his only serious long term relationship. They travelled the world together and experienced a lot of life together.
"She is absolutely devastated as she loved him and will always have love for him."
The insider added: "They always re-kindled their romance as they did truly love each other. But this ended when she met Charles in 2020."
Earlier today Lauren posted a short message on social media following Jake's death.
She wrote: "R.I.P Jake, I have no words right now."

Posting in red capitals she added: "My thoughts are with your family & friends."
She followed the message with broken-heart and angel emojis.
Jake's on/off girlfriend and Lauren's fellow former Towie star Yazmin Oukhellou, 28, was also injured during the accident.
Pictures have now emerged of the car Jake and Yaz were travelling in flipped on its roof after it careered off a cliff.
Emergency workers are shown at the scene of the scene close to the vehicle, which appears to have landed on an incline.
A source told The Sun Online: "Apparently Jake was driving when he lost control of the car and it went off a cliff."
