The actress joined the show in March, 2015 playing Richard Blackwood's on-screen mum Claudette.

Ellen is filming her final scenes, but there are reportedly no plans to kill off the character - so a return could be on the cards.

She reportedly told BBC Radio London: "The story at the moment is that she’s off on one of her trips and she’s staying with her son and she’s off."

"This is the end of another stint for Claudette and we wish Ellen all the best for the future."

Claudette was previously thought to have left the show during a controversial storyline in which it appeared she had been killed off, but later rose from the dead.
