Brad Pitt ‘can’t believe what his life has become’ as he struggles to cope with losing wife Angelina Jolie and their six kids
The actor is "totally crushed" by his dramatic split from estranged wife Angelina Jolie
BRAD Pitt has reportedly been left "totally crushed" by his sudden split from estranged wife Angelina Jolie.
The actor, who has kept a low profile since Angelina filed for divorce on September 20, is reported to be devastated by the series of events that have transpired in recent weeks.
Speaking to , a source said: "He can't believe this is what his life has become, and he's in bad shape, but the kids are the only thing he's hanging into.
The insider continued: "He's been leaning heavily on his family and speaks to his parents and close friends and his manager constantly. His mom has been talking to him constantly."
The Hollywood super-couple shocked the world last month when announcing their divorce after 12 years together.
There has been much controversy since the split, including rumours Brad had an affair with his Allied co-star Marion Cotillard and abuse allegations which have led to cops investing claims that Brad got physical with the couple's 15-year-old son Maddox on a private jet flight in September.
It has since been claimed that Angelina will refuse to help police if Brad is charged with abusing their son, with a source telling TMZ that the actress will go "radio silent".
It’s been previously reported the actor will not be prosecuted, according to various law enforcement sources involved in the case.
There is allegedly “no way to conclusively prove” that Brad intentionally harmed Maddox.
Last week it was reported that Brad and Angelina have reached a temporary arrangement which extends to October 20 that will allow the actor to have supervised visits with the couple's six children - Maddox, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
Meanwhile, People magazine reported this week that the pair are working on the divorce “behind closed doors” and will only go to court when they have finalised an agreement.
