X Factor’s Ottavio and Bradley admit they almost got together on a drunken night out at uni

OTTAVIO and Bradley have admitted they almost got together at university.
The best friends had previously described themselves as “like a married couple, minus any sexual activity.”
Speaking to The Sun Online, Ottavio revealed: "Bradley and I had met at uni and he took me under his wing because I didn’t really know anything. So Bradley took me out on the town. When we got back to Bradley’s, he said go on choose a DVD. So I picked Tracey Beaker. And then I got on top of him.
"But nothing happened. He made a bit of a move and I went, ‘Oh I can’t do it.’ I didn’t know what I was doing. But then we decided to stay friends."
Bradley added: "I was wasted, I didn’t do anything."
The pair famously fell out over a raw chicken dinner having a tiff in the audition room in front of the judges.
The boys didn't speak for a month after Bradley served Ottavio an under-cooked chicken dinner. The originally auditioned as solo acts, but Simon told them to perform as a duo.
Ottavio also revealed how difficult it was for him being gay as a teenager.
He explained: "I knew I was gay from around 14, but it was very hard for me to come out because I came from a very strict Italian Roman catholic background. It was very strict."

But it was tough at school as well as at home. Ottavio was bullied during his time at college.
I would get my head shoved in a locker a few times. I was thrown across tables by my school shirt collar. I used to wear a fleece at school and would walk along the corridors all hunched over and head down.
I was called disgusting names about my sexuality and about my religion. I was told I would go to hell if I didn’t repent my sins because of who I was.
It sounds like a gay cliché, but I found comfort in Mariah Carey songs. They worked for me. Her songs are inspirational. Butterfly and Through The Rain because they really helped me through the horrible times.
But the boys are over the moon now to have been picked as one of Louis' three groups to go through to the final, along with 5am and The Brooks.
Despite Ottavio pushing Bradley into a pool, ultimately baffling Louis and sending Fleur and Alesha into hysterics, the pair have managed to nab a place.
The Sun Online revealed that bosses have also threatened to kick the dramatic pair off the show if they don't clean up their act.
They were warned to tone down their wild ways following reports of boozing and sex romps at boot camp.
