In the short promo Rob takes on the role of conductor while still in his judicial gown.

He hushes the orchestra and their instruments as they then warm up to play the opening theme tune of the daytime show.

Controlling the pace - just as he does in her courtroom - the judge invites the choir, which includes his courtroom assistant Michelle, to join in.

Bringing the song to a climax, Judge Rinder turns to face the camera and opens his arms in a welcoming stance.

The voiceover concludes: "The Judge is back, a brand new series, weekdays, 2pm."

Rob, 38, who is currently competing on the dancefloor in BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing, said: "I think the programme genuinely goes from strength to strength... the cases get more interesting and more dynamic in every conceivable sense with each and every series.

"The show’s success is down to authenticity and the quality of the cases, the fact that it’s real law and genuine authentic human interest."

He added: "To celebrate reaching two years, ordinarily I’d open a glass of champagne but I’m learning to dance at the moment so need to be on my best behaviour!"
