AN emotional Pete Wicks was pictured being comforted by his friend and Towie co-star James Lock the day after The Sun exclusively revealed he had been sexting an ex behind girlfriend Megan McKenna’s back.

The 27-year-old tattooed hunk was sent home from filming the show in Marbella to try and diffuse the situation after he and Megan were seen having a fiery confrontation.

Pete was outed for exchanging messages with his former lover, 30-year-old model Jacqui Ryland, and bombarded the brunette with a series of x-rated texts while he was holidaying with Megan.

She said: “You know what I’m going to actually tell you guys on here what happened.

“I actually found some messages on Pete’s phone a few weeks ago and they weren’t good but I thought I’d give him another chance, as I feel like everyone deserves a second chance.

“The way that he was speaking to me was that he was really sorry and didn’t mean it.

“Obviously it’s not right that he was messaging other girls but he told me it was just innocent flirting.”
