KATIE Price fans walked out of her makeup masterclass last night after being left waiting in the heat for over an hour.

The 43-year-old had been due to begin her event in Birmingham at 4.30pm "sharp" but ended up arriving at 5.50pm.

Some exasperated fans, who had paid £80 to attend the intimate tutorial, gave up on the star.

Traffic hampered her 150-mile drive to Birmingham after she spent the morning trying on dresses with her bride-to-be sister Sophie in Worthing, West Sussex.

Katie arrived in pink fluffy slippers with her dog in a bag and her boyfriend Carl Woods.

The masterclass lasted one hour before Katie rushed back into her Range Rover and headed up to a scheduled appearance in Liverpool.

Those who did wait it out were happy with the event though.

Ethan Tarrier, 18, told : "It was absolutely amazing. She took so many photos with everyone, she's so lovely to her fans. She's such a lovely person.

"It wasn't her fault, it was just the traffic, it is what it is. But I really did feel like I got good value for money. I got a goodie bag with false nails, a make-up brush and some sweets. She even followed me on Instagram! I almost cried and everything!"

Rachel Deakin, 31, attended with her mum Jill.

She said: "I'm here for Katie Price but I do love make-up. I've been a fan since I was about 12. I just love her as a person. When I was young I read all her books and even had her hair dryer. When she went in the jungle I just loved her even more."

Jill added: "I bought her all the books and she read her autobiography in a day. She was just addicted."

Corinne Smurthwaite from Gloucester travelled over an hour to see Katie and said: "I just think she's so amazing, how she's brought up Harvey from such a young age and what she's had to put up with. We are similar ages and I've followed her since I was a teenager. She's an inspiration.

"She's been through a hell of a lot in her life but she's still keeping her head above water. I've met her before at make-up classes, and she's always so open and confident, happy to answer questions about make-up and her life. She's great fun."
