Tearful Megan McKenna reveals all about Pete Wicks sexting drama

TEAFUL Megan McKenna has spoken for the first time since Pete Wicks' sexting scandal came to light.

The Towie star opened her heart on her Snapchat page on Friday night, just hours after pictures emerged of her having a furious row with her boyfriend over sexy texts he had been sending an ex-girlfriend behind her back.

The Sun Online exclusively revealed how the tattooed hunk had been exchanging messages with his former lover, model Jacqui Ryland, and bombarded the brunette with a series of x-rated texts while he was holidaying with Megan in Barcelona.

And while the 24-year-old admitted she had known about some texts between the pair, she hadn't realised the full extent or nature of their exchange.

She said: "You know what I’m going to actually tell you guys on here what happened.

"I actually found some messages on Pete’s phone a few weeks ago and they weren’t good but I thought I'd give him another chance, as I feel like everyone deserves a second chance.

"The way that he was speaking to me was that he was really sorry and didn’t mean it.

"Obviously it's not right that he was messaging other girls but he told me it was just innocent flirting."

The star sat propped up on her bed, still wearing her clothes and make-up from a night out with her friend, and confessed that while she wasn't going to go into every detail of what has happened in the last few days and weeks, she wanted to clear up some rumours.

She continued: "I did know about some messages that were going about and obviously that’s hurt a lot.

"That a boy that I thought loved me and I loved could be with me and doing that at the same time.

"But then like, today, for some girl to sell a story about it, and for me to see messages that I hadn’t seen before. That f***ing hurts."

The revelation came just days after Megan celebrated her birthday in Marbella with Pete, who bought her a Rolex watch and showered her with gifts.

Megan added: "She’s [Jacqui] obviously seen that me and him were trying to move on and obviously he’s bought me nice things and I put it on Instagram and Twitter and its rubbed her up the wrong way.

"But just to clear those rumours up I didn’t know all those messages were going about but its f***ing hurtful and heartbreaking. I just wish none of this had happened really.

"Life’s a c***. Everything happens for a reason."

Megan's post came hours after it was reported Pete, 27, had been flown home from the Spanish resort following the fiery confrontation with his girlfriend.  

A source exclusively told us: “Pete was due to stay on till the end of filming in Marbella as he is one of the main cast.

“But he is being sent home early. There is so much drama on set right now and they are hoping this will ease the tension.”
