Who are Lauryn Hill's children?
Lauryn Noelle Hill was born on May 26, 1975.
She grew up in New Jersey before finding success as an actress and a musician at a young age.
She had a recurring role on American soap opera As The World Turns before co-starring with Whoopi Goldberg in Sister Act 2 (1993).
The 47-year-old had her first taste of chart success as part hip-hop trio Fugees, with fellow members Wyclef Jean and Pras Michael.
She then went solo at just 22, and released an album still regarded as one of the best albums in pop history.
The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, released in 1998, bagged five Grammy Awards, and broke the record for first-week sales by a solo female artist in the United States.
But after becoming an international superstar, she withdrew from the public eye.
