Love Island star Laura Anderson unrecognisable in air hostess throwback snaps with Channing Tatum
LOVE Island star Laura Anderson looks unrecognisable as she poses with Hollywood hunk Channing Tatum in a picture from her days as an air hostess.
The Scots influencer, from Stirling, took to Instagram where she shared a series of throwback snaps from her time working with Emirates to mark International Flight Attendant Day.
Laura, 33, finished runner-up on the 2018 series of Love Island but spent much of her time in the skies prior to launching a showbiz career - where she met celebs like Channing and rapper Example.
And while there she rubbed shoulders with the rich, famous and everything in between.
She said: “A lil throwback to my Emirates days (the best times).
“Wow 10 years as a crew, no matter the airline or nationality we are all still like a big dysfunctional family!
“To current and ex crew, you are superstars!
“To passengers/customers, you’ve no idea how tired we were and the zero f***s given that you didn’t get your beef.”
Laura now lives in Dubai with former Another Level boyband fave boyfriend Dane Bowers.
Yesterday she admitted she was gutted there's no Scots in this year's starting line-up for Love Island.
The latest batch of Islanders were revealed with looking-for-love singletons from across the UK.
But there's a notable exception - unlike previous years, there's nobody from Scotland among the 10 new reality stars.
And Laura Anderson, runner up on season four of the cult competition show, says it's a big miss not to have anyone from north of the border taking part.
She said: "It’s a shame there are no Scots in this summer’s Love Island line up so far.
“With myself and Camilla Thurlow coming runner up in series three and four, Paige Turley winning the winter show in 2020 and Anton Danyluk a close finalist in series five, between us we’ve done well."
“So far there's contestants from the likes of Dublin, in Ireland, Swansea, in Wales, London, Thirsk, in Yorkshire, and Guernsey, in the Channel Islands - but no Scots.
The show has added contestants later in the season in past years. In 2021, Glasgow lads Dale Mehmet and Harry Young joined the Casa Amor squad 29 days into the show.
Laura is hopeful that there might be some more Scots additions this time round.
