Sacked England manager Sam Allardyce linked to slot on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here
Bookies say the former manager could be next on the reality TV show
SAM Allardyce could become the next famous face to appear on I’m A Celeb… if he wants to pocket a huge wedge.
According to bookies, if the former England manager was up for some jungle action, he could potentially earn a huge wad of cash from the ITV reality show.
Since leaving his role as footie boss, he's been made a mockery of.
According to The Mirror, his odds of popping up on the testicle-eating show have been slashed.
Now he’s left his position as the England supremo, bookies are saying Sam is 20/1 to appear in the Australian outback – while he’s 33/1 to appear in the upcoming Celebrity Big Brother.
But don’t get too hot under the collar – Sad Sam is also 7/1 to retire from the game completely this year.
Speaking outside his Bolton home earlier, the 61-year-old was quizzed about whether it would be his last job in the game.
He said: "Who knows. We'll wait and see.
"It was a great honour for me to be appointed back in July and I am deeply disappointed at this outcome.
"I would like to wish Gareth (Southgate) and all of the England lads the best."
It’s thought he could have earned around £550,000 for his brief stint as manager – not a patch on what he could get on reality TV.
After 67 days and one game, he revealed what his next steps were.
He said: “I’m off abroad to chill out and reflect.”
Could that be code for the Australian outback?
