Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt reveals au naturel hair transformation after removing ‘mermaid hair’ extensions

SCARLETT Moffatt has revealed her au naturel transformation online, waving goodbye to her "mermaid hair" extensions.

The Gogglebox star looked stunning in the selfie which showcased her new hairdo.

She told her Instagram followers: "Bye bye summer mermaid hair, hello shiny natural hair!!";

With the difference in length clear to see, the reality star has recently been sporting thick hair down to her bum.

She's also played with grey tints at the bottom of her hair.

And the 25-year-old's fans were quick to comment on her new look.

"U look f ing mint," said one, while another added: "You look beautiful but stop losing weight! xx"

The reality show favourite has lost a whopping two stone since April after doctors tested her for diabetes because of her high BMI.

One of her followers commented: "U look so bootiful bab pls pls don't change ur appearance none of them big fish lips."

Scarlett has in the past admitted to finding lip fillers "addictive".

She told : "I’ve had lip fillers about three times now – it’s addictive!

"That’s another self-conscious thing, too, but I won’t go mental with it.

"When I used to smile, my top lip would disappear and it’d look like I didn’t have one so I constantly had to draw my lips on, which was no good."

Although it seemed Scarlett has now had a change of heart after she took to Instagram last month to insist her pout was all down to cosmetic products - and not surgery.

Posting before and after selfies of her mouth, she wrote: "To prove a point about my lips! Just to show you what make up can do, I’m not having fillers every week like people are saying, these pics were taken on the same day.

"It’s literally all about lip liner and matte lipstick #nomakeup."

But it seemed her hairdresser boyfriend Luke Crodden seemed more than happy with the view, commenting on his girl's latest post and simply writing: "mine".
