Who is Grainne McCoy? Meet The Apprentice 2016 semi-finalist – here’s what we know
She can transform herself from businesswoman to zombie in minutes
SPECIAL effects make-up artist Grainne McCoy has made it to the final five in this year's Apprentice.
The 31 year old from Northern Ireland owns a makeup studio and has worked on a number of films and celebrity clients in the past.
Grainne is yet to win a task as project manager and has faced being fired on one occasion.
A single mum of one, she has recently opened up about the pressures of being a working mother.
A peek at the candidate’s Facebook page reveals her truly terrifying creations which look like she has just walked off the set of a horror movie.
Grainne’s website reveals that she has worked as a makeup artist in Selfridges and Cannes, and on films such as Ibiza Undead.
Speaking to the BBC cameras ahead of this year's series, Grainne says, "If I had to describe myself in a sentence, it would be very talkative and outgoing.
"I am enthusiastic, I didn't get the opportunity to go to university or really get it drilled into me, I was born with this drive and enthusiasm to be successful.
"After becoming a mother at sixteen, the drive doubled so not only was I wanting to be successful for myself, I also had a son that I had to be a role model for."
The final of The Apprentice airs Sunday 18 December at 9pm on BBC ONE.
