Zoe Ball’s boyband toyboy TayTay says split wasn’t his fault as there’s no way she would have stayed faithful to hubby Norman Cook
TayTay Starhz snogged the BBC presenter in a London nightclub last year
THE boyband star who triggered the breakdown of Zoe Ball’s marriage to Norman Cook believes it was only a matter of time before the couple split.
TayTay Starhz, 23, snogged the BBC presenter in a London nightclub last year.
Superstar DJ Norman, 53, known as Fatboy Slim, appeared to forgive Zoe, 45, for her cheating.
But the pair’s 18-year marriage lasted just another nine months.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun TayTay — a member of British band Franklin Lake — said: “Zoe wasn’t happy in her marriage and she decided to cheat. I bet I wasn’t the first or the last.
“If that drunken kiss was one of the catalysts that ended her marriage then it’s not my issue.
“I’m single and have no family responsibilities. I have no one else to answer to.
“It’ll be the best thing for her if she’s told Norman she’s unhappy and wants to walk away.
“She was being a cheat so it’s a good thing for them both to go their separate ways.”
Ex-Live and Kicking star Zoe was pictured kissing bisexual TayTay at Freedom club in Soho during a wrap party for the BBC2 Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two.
And TayTay who had a fling with Writing’s On The Wall singer Sam Smith, 24, earlier this year, reckons their drunken clinch could well have been the beginning of the end for her marriage to teetotal Norman.
He said: “I wasn’t shocked with her splitting up with Norman, obviously she’s after something completely different if she was kissing me in a club.
“People made out it was my fault because she’s married but she gave off the impression she was single.
“I was on a night out with my friends and she lunged at me. I would have swerved her completely if I knew she was married.”
TayTay went on: “She was dancing towards me. It was like a scene from Fifty Shades Of Grey, she was holding my neck and then she leaned in for a kiss.

“It was just physical that night, she didn’t even ask for my name. The kiss wasn’t just a peck on the lips, it was a proper French kiss with tongues. I’m still cringing now because she’s old enough to be my mum.”
A pal revealed: “Zoe told heartbroken Norman that he was boring and said that she just wanted to drink and have sex with a new younger lover.
“Zoe wants to go out and have fun, and Norman would rather stay at home.”
On Friday the couple had announced “with great sadness” that they were separating.
They tweeted: “After many exciting adventures we have come to the end of our rainbow.
“We’re still great friends and will continue to support each other and raise our beautiful children together living next door but one.”
Zoe has moved out of the plush seafront home in Hove, East Sussex, that she shared with Norman, their son Woody, 16, and daughter Nelly May, six.
She was still wearing her wedding ring as she arrived at BBC Radio 2’s London studios yesterday while Norman was spotted out and about in gym gear for the second consecutive day.
He has stayed silent over the split and yesterday held his finger to his lips while in his car.
