Jessica Wright gushes over sister-in-law Michelle Keegan’s performance in gritty drama Our Girl after rave reviews
The former Towie star gives her verdict on Michelle’s show-stopping role in the BBC drama
SHE’S received rave reviews for her performance in Our Girl but it’s not just the critics who’ve been loving Michelle Keegan.
Her sister-in-law Jessica Wright has been tuning into the BBC One war drama every week and is seriously impressed by Michelle’s take on the character Georgie Lane.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, Jessica says: “It’s such a great programme and Michelle is doing such an amazing job in it. I’m really enjoying it.
“Michelle’s totally owned it – I’m so proud of her.”
Jessica and Michelle – who's married to the reality star's brother Mark – recently enjoyed a night out at London’s 100 Wardour Club to celebrate Jessica’s 31st birthday party and it’s clear the pair are closer than ever.

Writing about their night out on her blog, Michelle said: “We had some nibbles and a cocktail or two, and then went downstairs into the club area. All the ladies get on really well so we had a fun and girly evening.”
Since leaving Towie, Jessica has focussed on her clothing and shoe collection and insists she’d never make a return to the hit ITVBE programme.
But there is one reality show that definitely would take her fancy: I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here.
Jessica explains: “It would be really challenging and something I would definitely do if I was asked.
“I hate everything: spiders, rats, snakes, sleeping outdoors…I think I’d be ok, as long as my fears didn’t beat me.”
The Essex girl recently appeared again on our screens, starring in a celebrity edition of Channel 4’s First Dates, but Jessica admits she’s not interested in settling down just yet.
She adds: “I just think where I am right now in my life in terms of my career, that’s the most important thing to me at the moment. It would take someone really special to bowl me over and make me think: ‘Right, I’m ready for a relationship’.
“Maybe I should be putting more effort into meeting someone but I’m just not – I care more about my career at the moment and there’s no point changing anything at home because I’m so happy living on my own.”
Jess is also working with Lottoland at the moment, encouraging people to save 50p on their EuroMillions tickets online and it turns out she’s got big plans if she hit the jackpot.
She says: “I’d buy a private jet but it depends on how much I won – I'd be able to travel wherever I wanted, whenever I wanted!
“I'd like to treat my family first and foremost by buying them something they've always wanted and taking them all away on a nice holiday – then I'd spoil myself silly!”
