Justin Bieber and Beyoncé lead at this year’s MTV European Music Awards 2016 with five nominations each
Brit faves Adele and Colplay not far behind with four nods apiece
JUSTIN Bieber and Beyonce are set to dominate this year's MTV European Music Awards, with five nominations each.
Fans can vote now ahead of the glam awards show, which is scheduled to take place in Rotterdam on Sunday, November 6.
Canadian pop star Justin, 22, and R&B hitmaker Beyonce, 35, are set to go head to head in the Biggest Fans category.
Justin is also up for Best Song for Sorry and Best Male, Best Pop and Best Canadian Act, while Bey got nods for Best Video, for Formation, as well as Best Female, Best Live and Best US Act.
Representing the Brits not far behind are superstar Adele and rockers Coldplay, with four nominations apiece, including one each for Best Local Act in the UK and Ireland and Best Live.
Also up for Best UK & Ireland Act are Little Mix, Zayn Malik and London pop trio Years & Years.
Battling it out with Biebs for Best Male are Calvin Harris, Shawn Mendes, Drake and The Weeknd, while Beyonce and Adele compete with Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Sia for Best Female.
Rumoured couple Rihanna and Drake were also nominated for their collaboration Work.
The Bajan beauty is also up for Best Pop, while Canadian Drake is up for Best Hip Hop.
