NOVETLY gift company owner Courtney Wood came runner up in this year's series of The Apprentice.

He pipped girlfriend Jessica Cunningham to the post to make it in to the final before being beaten by winner Alana Spencer.

Courtney and Jessica confirmed their relationship status on a romantic holiday to Tenerife after the series ended.

So who is Courtney Wood?

The 29-year-old designs and creates novelty gifts and believes his confidence is one of his strongest attributes.

When asked to describe himself in a sentence, the young entrepeneur told the BBC: "I'm awesome, simple as that."

During his time on The Apprentice, Courtney was caught up in scandal as it was claimed four contestants ended up in bed together during filming.

Since coming runner up on The Apprentice, Courtney Wood has been working on his novelty gifts business, and changed its name shortly after the series ended.

Who is Courtney Wood's girlfriend?

Once The 2016 series of The Apprentice had finished airing, Courntey and fellow Apprentice Jessica Cunningham headed off on a loved-up Christmas getaway where they confirmed their romance.

Courtney joked that girlfriend Jessica, a late addition to this year's CBB house, stood him up on a date to enter the house.

He said: “The morning of when three new housemates were going in she was coming to London so we could go for dinner.

“Instead I had a microwave meal of Marconi cheese and watched the girl I was dating go into Celebrity Big Brother.”

The businessman doesn't seem too troubled by the Twitter trolls and immediately hit back at online trolls who tweeted in their hundreds branding Jessica a “slag.”

However since the fashion designer entered the house, all eyes have been on her and fellow housemate Calum Best.

Jessica has made no secret of her crush on ladies’ man Calum after stroking his hair and telling him he was “cute” in an episode of the show that aired this week.
